Acceptance of Donations

We gratefully accept donations from both UK-based and international donors. We must consider the source of each donation and its alignment with our charity s principles.

Donation Procedures

• For Donations between £1000 - £4999:
  • Cash Donations:
    • Donors must specify that the donation is Zakat.
    • Completion of the CAP Foundation Zakat Donation Form is required.
  • Electronic Credit:
    • If unable to complete the Donation Form, please visit our website at [www.capfoundations.com] to make your donation and receive an automatic receipt via email.

• For Donations of £5000 or more (Large Donations):
  • Cash Donations:
    • A valid Photo ID must be obtained.
    • Completion of the CAP Foundation Donation Form is mandatory.
    • A receipt will be provided to the donor by hand or post.
  • Electronic Credit:
    • A valid Photo ID must be obtained.
    • Completing the CAP Foundation Donation Form or donation through our website is required.

Refusal of Donation

CAP Foundation reserves the right to refuse donations in the following circumstances:

• If the donation originates from sources involved in activities contrary to our charity s objectives.
• If the donor has been involved in illegal activities or violated money laundering and terrorist financing regulations.
• If accepting the donation could significantly damage our reputation.
• If the donation creates conflicts of interest.
• If the donation places unmanageable or inappropriate demands on our charity.
• If the donation imposes conditions contrary to our charity s objectives and values or ties the donation to an activity against our objectives or values.

Review and Authorization

This policy will be reviewd on 1 October 2024 and is subject to future reviews as deemed necessary. The appropriate official within the cap    foundation have authorised it.
