Building Community Mosques

The mosque is the heart of a Muslim community which provide much more than a place of worship, many offer education and are a base for the community to deliver essential services. The first and foremost duty performed by the Messenger of Allah SallAllahu ‘alayhi wasallamupon entering Madinah was to build a mosque.

Whosoever builds a house (mosque) for the pleasure of Allah, whether it be small or large, Allah builds for him a house in Paradise.’
[Tirmidhi]
